On my way again

Unfortunately we had a death in the family and I came home for a few days. It was a bittersweet break from the norm to say the least. I'll be headed back to Kuwait Saturday afternoon. It was nice to be back on American soil though. Ya'll take care and keep the rubber side down!

I've got a lot of buddies over there in Fallujah, my old NG Infantry unit. Big part of me wishes I was over there with 'em.

Man, you've got enough to worry about over there without having family members sick or dying. So sorry to hear about that, but very glad you could come back for the funeral. When my dad died, the Red Cross sent a chopper out to pick up my son off his sub and arranged to fly him back home. He got back about 4 days before dad died, which was good.

Please stay safe over there, and hurry home (for good this time).
