Open rear window... Legal or not???

I have seen other Jeeps with hard tops driving around with their rear window open...Is this safe...or even legal? It would be nice just to pop out the rear window and go for a cruise since I have not had the time to get my soft-top on yet!!! :-D [addsig]

It is not suggested unless you have the 2 side windows out. Legality isn't the Issue, Exhaust is the problem. Imagine, doing 65 down the highway and passing out because your Cab is full of exhaust fumes. Not a real treat if you ask me.[addsig]

There will be a lot of down pressure on the rear glass and could cause it to break. Good Luck Tug[addsig]
