Painless Wiring for a '76/'77 CJ-5

Hi guys and girls, I have some questions about the painless wiring system for my jeep. My wife has designated a portion of the tax return to go to the Jeep... (more covered in tax return thread) well another stipulation has come up in the disscusion on the allocation of funds... I have to get it "Road Worthy" first (no lift, roll cage, off-road bumpers, etc) and this was the #1 on my list. How much pain does the "PAINLESS WIRING" include? I'm getting the exhaust custom redone (-$175) and want to know what should come first? I 'spose I'd better give a list too....

and in NO particular order:
wiring (lights, horn, turn signals, reverse lamps dash lights)
exhaust
parking brake
leak in rear diff (easy peasy lemon squeezy)
steering needs to be addressed (too much play with 33" tires) or swapped (Armstrong to Power)
tie-rod replaced
Power Brakes (maybe)
ALL THIS TO PASS INSPECTION

What should come first? I've never gotten this deep all at once and I don't feel like back tracking... please any help or advice welcomed... any of y'all near Austin (more for our newer members, I know where the "Elders*" live)

*I kidd because I love, y'all should know that by now ;)
