Rain Water Leak

I have a 2006 Wrangler X. Late last fall I noticed a little water on the floor mat on the passenger side following a heavy rain. Thought at first I had left the window partially down but no, it was fully closed. Happened again during this week after another downpour.

I ran a garden hose around the windows to try to find the leak source and when I directed the flow at the grille by the winshield it started leaking in from there. I assume that there's an overflow tube in the collection tray under the grille but havent been able to take it out until I get the right bit to inspect it yet. Other thoughts?

This is a common problem. There is a drain under the cowl that gets clogged. Just clean it out and you should be fine.

It happens if you park under trees more often then not, I have to clean mine yearly.
