With 4.88's do you have 5th gear????

I have lot's of 5th gear.I can do 65mph in 4th at 3,000 rpm's. Just today i was on the highway and i looked down to see how fast i was going and i was doing 85mph. Opps to fast for an off road jeep.

Nice I was trying to figure out what to gear to for 35's

I have a 2.5 with a 4.0 or a 4.2 or 258 carb the 4.88's will push the 35"s with ease.

I have a 258 4.2.... so it will be good to go????

Plus the lower the gear the better. In 4 low the 4.88's are kick a$$.

Ya you will have lot's of power the push 35's.

Good deal...that's what I need because I lost 5th gear....

I can push 35"s with the 4.88's and the 4 banger but i'll lose 5th gear. So i will stick with the 33's for now.
