Couldn't find a smiley for "envious"!! Pics will come, right??! Have a great time!!!!

For sure! I did it last year for the first time, and now I think it's my favorite trail.....if I only do one trip a year, this would be it.

Never been but I'd love to go. Is that the type of place to bring your daily driver?

I did it last year for the first time and drove home with no problems. This year, I twisted my front axle shaft into two pieces, broke my swaybar discos, separated one tire from the rim and broke both the bolts holding my upper control arms.

......and I thought I was being pretty careful. :shades:

Some pictures from this past weekend......enjoy!

that last pic Buck Island Lake?

Terry The whole trail is 46 miles and starts from Georgetown, you can shorten the trip to a two day run and drop in on the southwest corner of Lake Tahoe just north of Loon Lake. The squeeze box is the first obstacle (also known as the gate keepers) from there is 23 miles of oh my gosh. You can do it in your DD but it will be tough and expect some body damage. I only have driven it once and would love to get a group together and do it again, without pushing a rock through my slider and bending my tub this time.

Yeah....we camped on top of the Sluice Box the first night and stayed at Buck for the rest of the weekend.

We should totally get a group of people together to do this trip! The group I went with was the NorCal Broncos club and we had about 15 Broncos total. Having done it twice now, I certainly don't qualify as a trail leader, but I'd love to do it again with some Jeepers.
