Score one for the venerable jeep.

1975 mostly stock CJ%

I drove home tonight and came to a stop in time to not hit the guy in front of me. We're talking 2wheel drive first snow of the year. Lots of time to stop. It was just slippery enough for the rear end to come loose a little but nothing serious. Apparantly not for the guy behind me in his 2001 Honda Civic EX. He hit my hitch and spare tire. His hood is toast and the hitch punctured his license plate and plastic bumper. As the wife says "it didn't even knock the snow off the jeeps spare tire". I might have knocked a little bit of rust loose and it pushed in the back panel 1/4" tops. Nothing you can see if you didn't notice.

Hooray for My Jeep.

Hooray for Jeeps!!!! I pity the person that slides into me front or rear. Don't ya' just love it! Where 'bouts are you from?

hahahaha, its probably gonna cost that guy a few thousand bucks to get his little honda fixed. All it'll take to fix your jeep is a hammer and 5 minuites of your time.

Well that Honda onwer got to see his "crumple zones" in action.

Jeeps don't need no stinkin' crumple zones

I love this factor too. Hit a car this summer (SHUCKS). Only good thing was she had a broken bumper and some red paint on it and I had nothing, couldn't even see the scratch where the paint came off the jeep. lol Mean WARN front bumper I have on that baby!

I came home in some ice/snow about 4 years ago. took a turn at about 35 mph on interstate, and endup turning too hard. I hit the concrete guard rail so hard (head on) that I bounced off and came to stop in the middle of the interstate. I hopped out of the Jeep, and looked at the front end. No damage to the bumper at all, but when I hit, the wall, both headlights poped out of the housings and were just hanging by the wires. -- no other damage

Leaving football practice at the beginning of this school year one of my friends was following too close(92 maxima). Truck in front of me locked up his brakes, i locked up mine, my friend rear-ended me at 35mph. The jeep had nosedived placing the bumper right at about his headlights and it shoved everything back 2 feet. His radiator went through his engine, his engine was crumpled, it even took 2 football players to open his door where the sidepanels had overlapped. Damage to me= bent the back tailgate a little but unless you're a jeeper u don't even notice the spare is on a little crooked.

I hit this car while I was thinking and driving one day. The Jeep drove away with a bent bumper and dented fenders.
