Check out the vids on the website of these things in action.
These things are awesome. Why use a torch or plasma cutter on at least some material.

They use a special metal cutting circular saw. I have a saw on order now.
I was think heavily of getting a cutting torch set up but did not have the spare room for it. This is my solution for sure.
 

It would be good for cutting flat steel. There are also metal cutting 10" chop saw blades out there that are great if you cut a lot of tubing.
There is really no replacement for an acetylene torch, especially if you are doing demo work like cutting off shock mounts, perches, or whatever.
IMO the basic tools for doing metal work on Jeeps would have to be the Port a Band saw, grinder, Sawzall, welder and die grinder. Those are the items I find myself using quite a bit. Next on my list is a drill press.
