Shock Replacement

I have a 99 Wrangler Sport. I just paid it off and bought another vehicle so I am in the process of beginning the modifications I want. The Jeep has about 104k miles on it, and it still has factory shocks. Bad, I know, but I've been in school and haven't had any money.

Anyway, I got new shocks for it to begin the process and I want to install them myself. I am not stupid, and am 80 percent technically proficient. Can I handle it? Can someone give me a quick "how-to" or direct me to a website that can?

I've never changed out the shocks on a Jeep, but I did it on my old Toy 4x4, and I'm barely mechanically enclined. I wouldn't think it would be too much work. You should be able to figure it out by looking everything over pretty good first. What part of it do you need help with? I'm sure someone here can lead you in the right direction, we've got tons of great wrench-turners here, and they're all pretty friendly and willing to help out.

Welcome aboard!!!

if i remember right the front shocks if it is stud/loop the top is a 14mm & the bottem is a 15mm & an 18MM. rear is 15mm & 18mm. it should take you in the drive way about 1 hour for all 4 if they arnt rusted to heck. if they are sawsall works just fine, but need to buy new bolts.
