I have the River Raider Expedition Snorkel... the Hummer style. Like it cause it is out of the way and not so large. $370 for the kit. TJ Expedition Snorkel

I hear ya sunilla_blue, even when my dad was serving '37-'67 it seems the Marines were always getting the short end. I recall my original issue in '79 was angle pocketed utilities (Vietnam era) with an O.D. cover. FIrst rifle qual had a choice of M14 that I went with and fired just into expert range (even at 500 yeads) thereafter the best I could do was marksman.
First two years was at MCLB Barstow (what a happy place to be for a PacNW'r) and whenever an old Jeep, truck or Tank came in on the railhead, job #1 was to send out all the privates with a can of O.D. to paint out the white star. :roll:
