I thought I'd trrow this out here and see what I get back before I jump into another repair. I have MC 2150 with a manual choke and sometimes she just wont idle at temp. I've set the idle mixture screws and for the most part she runs great, but on occasion it'll take a couple high revs and some driving before shes back again. Is this just the fuel filter or pump, or could it be the ignition module or something. Keep in mind it was doing the same thing with the carter and I did the Nutter bypass to her about 5 months ago. Any ideas? Maybe just starting with the cheapest and go up is my best bet. Thanks.

First I would check the choke to make sure you are opeining the whole way. After that I would look for vacuum leaks. What did you do at the back of the carb to seal the bottow. If its leaking air is won't want to idle.
