Torque mount

Haha.. I keep snapping my torquemount bolt that holds the transfercase to the skidplate. This is my 4th time replacing it. It may be time to upgrade to a better bolt or put some supplemental support in there. Thinking maybe a ratchet strap

Snitty,
I'm on my second one now. When I put the first one in, I did as the Haynes Manual said and left a little clearance. The one on there now has no clearance and is tight. Seems to hold up, but I haven't been too rough on it. Did you give yours a little play?

RE: Who

If your snapping them that much, what do you motor mounts look like? you should not have that much "spin" in the Drivetrain

Motor mounts are just dandy. But remember, I plowed with the jeep for 3 years. I put a lot of stress on that drivetrain. And a lot of stress on my (insert any word here)mounts.

RE: Anyone an MMA fan?

I got a piece of threaded rod today. I'm going to cut it into sections to keep as spares
