I am needing a used transmission for a 1995 wrangler and I really don't know where to look. Does anyone know of a good company I could use to find this item. I don't need a transfer case because I had it rebuilt and then found out it wasn't the problem. I won't be using a shade tree mech.anymore.

best bet is probably a junk yard. A NEW transmission will be expensive.

yup, get one from a junkyard. they will guarantee it for 30 days so you can test it out

I went to Auto Zone. They are rebuilt. I went with the NV3550, instead of the AX whatever. It had a three year warranty.
