Hey, guys, I was trying to instal a new Skyjacker Steering Stabilizer, but ran into trouble getting the stock one out. It seems those nuts are hard as heck to get out. Any suggestions? Or should I just givo up and go to a mechanic and have him do it?

I read somewhere that it is kind of hard to do, but i wanted to do this myself ans save the money... Suggestions welcome!

The axle end or tierod end? Gotten the bolt off and can't get the stud out?

If you are trying to remove the tapered stup out of the draglink put something between the draglink and axle to steady it and them beat it out. Once there is something keeping the dragling from bowing it should come out with one or two solid hits.

If it is just a stuck nut then PB Blaster or heating it with a torch are your choices.

I had problems with the nut, but it seems I will also have problems with the stud from what I hear. I'll heat the nut and try it that way, and beat the stud out as instructed... But all will be after I get back from my Xmas break in January. Thanks for the update, and I will keep you posted...
