Long or short...

Everyone here has some good points.

It really depends on what you are planning on doing with the Jeep and what the budget allows. The performance of the LA kit is really going to shine when you hit the trail and start really flexing the suspension. Of course, gears, lockers and driving ability make a huge difference also.

You could always start out with a 3"-4" kit and then later when the budget allows, go with a LA upgrade kit. This would allow you to run 33" tires now and get used to driving and hitting the trail. Then, later you can put the upgrade kit on and still run the same tires but get more flex and hit some of the harder trails.
