Ok.. at least this time they didn't cut the window just unzipped it! Nothing to take, but they stole my eye glasses case and the trash bag that hangs on the back of the seat. It just ****es me off and I wish I could wire her to shock the crap out of them as they climb through the back...

Thanks for the info guys. I had no idea...I know you used to be able to buy a replacement plate when doing restoration work. I will tell him to head to the DMV with all his paper work to get a replacement. I know won't mean what the old tag did but oh well....

A friend of mine purchased a 78 CJ several years ago. It was not running but is now, now he needs to get it registered in AL. As I stated above, it has a new tub but the Vin tag did not get moved. Does anyone make these or know whats next?

Mine actually has a "real" alarm on it...as long as you try to open the door! Oh well, thinking about a proximity sensor to set the thing off...or maybe add a "shocking" feature... :lol:

Welcome to the Z! That is a nice looking jeep you got there. I can't believe you can't get your license til you're 17... I was lucky enough to live on a farm and started driving when I was 8. The day I turned 15 I had my permit the day I turned 16 I got my license...been driving ever since...

For the first 20 years I was a printing press operator. The last 14 years I have been a software tester for a company that writes software for the concrete and aggregate industry. Some days I miss the physical work of printing...other days my back is really glad I got out of it! :lol:

Once I get her paid off...(4 more months!) I want to get a new bumper and a winch!!! :D

We had a little snow today... Of course where I work didn't let us leave early but it was still cool looking once we got home.
