Any one here done this yet. From what I've read the Wagoneer 44 in the late 70's narrow tracks is the way to go. Long side just needs to be shortened by 4".
it's only about 5" when you use stock YJ springs. I did before a few years back and the nice thing is it rides real smooth. The only problem was since I locked the front I kept breaking U joints.

I snapped waggy 44 joints (granted stock) locked with 33's. When I put my Q's on I upgraded to yukon and ctms... still snapped one. and I am by no means a throttle junkie. The problem is the U-joint, unless you go with big buckaftermarket shafts like longfield shafts, your a slave to the 297 joint, which is no better than a D30 shaft from a TJ. the joint's size when tunring and under throttle will bind up fast and snap.
