I've done a fair amount of 4-wheelin' with this rig since picking it up and getting it "trail ready" ... posted some pics last fall after doing the eastern 3 miles of the Rubicon (granite stones the size of your head covered the trail for the last ~2 miles!), and a couple of other neat sections around Lake Tahoe. I'll repost the pics in a little while as I pulled them down some weeks ago.
I don't want to be guilty of replacing "dumb luck" with thinking the setup was what it should be. It appears the trails I've been on so far have been rated Class 5 at the worst, and that was for for very short sections. As far as my wife is concerned, if she never sees another Class 5 it is just fine by her!!
You can see from the signature that I err on the side of caution as you don't need lift and winch for the typical class 5 trail.
Oh, and I'm converting the A/C compressor for OBA ... yes, I'll add an oiler and coalescent filter to the mix! Will let you know how it turns out.
Thanks for all the comments. Even in differing opinions it gives much food for thought.
