transmission questions

i have a 89 jeep xj with a 4.0 in it, it has the ba10 transmission that i just blew up. second time i took the transmission out. i would like to swap to a better 5spd. are the ax15 a bolt in swap? what all needs changed if they dont swap right over.. thanks for any help

I'm putting the 4.0 in my YJ, bought an AX15 w/transfer case to go with it.. bolts right up.. also bought a bellhousing to match, the later bought the bellhousing with the external clutch unit.. so have an extra bell housing.. so.. far as I know, the 4.0 is a direct match to the AX15..
