Will be needing tires in a bit. 2006 WK original equipment is Bad Wear Wranglers 235/65R17.
Does anyone know whether LT225/85R17 or LT215/85R17 will fit without rubbing any body parts? I'm wanting to get some lift without adding parts and pieces to the machine and want to get better load capability with 10 ply rating.:?:
I have installed such LT's with 16 inch rims on my 06 KJ with no rubbing and the added tire pressure allowed in the 10 ply tires gives better handling (on- and off-road) without changing the suspension system. They do increase ride stiffness, but that's a small trade off.
