Tie rod flip

Ok I have a we'll call it a 84 cj7 v8 360 with a torqueflite 727 transmission butted up to a dana 300 transfer case with a 4 ince spring lift and about 1 1/2 shackle lift and 3 ince body lift. What I need to know is do i need to get to extended driveshafts with the lift. I have everything covered but not sure about the shafts. I am doing a frame up restoration on my totaled out 80cj7.

You should be fine, but check your clearance just in case.

Measure the from yoke to yoke where the driveshafts would mount, front and back. Measure the driveshafts extended and compressed. The distance half-way between extended and compressed should be the distance between the yokes. Or somewhere close. You just don't want to run with the shaft fully extended with the suspension at it's rested height.
