Turn Signal Switch Help!!

Has anyone ever installed a turn signal switch in a CJ? If so, how difficult is it?

I just installed a blinker switch in my CJ when I installed my Painless wiring harness.

Remove the steering wheel to get to the steering wheel lock-plate. Then remove the lock-plate "keeper" with a lock-ring tool, I borrowed mine from Auto-Zone. Once you get the lock plate off, its just a matter of 3 machine screws and fishing the wiring harness down the column. If you have the part and the correct tools, it should take less than an hour.

It's worth the effort.

I just did it, what he said but the steering wheel and the lockplate were not co-operating. And be careful of that little horn tower, it breaks easy,cause I know.
