Is there anywhere to wheel on long island? i heard some people go out east and there is a trail off the side of the road but no idea where.

Hey Longislandjeep whats up. You were at paragon and we didnt meet. Let me know the next time you go and we can go together. No there is no legal trails in NY state unless its private property and you have a permission. Yes I have heard about the access road that runs along the power lines in montauk but its on private land. I am told the owner doesnt bother anyone but thats not the way to gain access. The only real offroading on long island is the beaches. Where do you live. You could get a fishing access permit which allows access but you must have fishing gear and some other stuff to use the beach. Check out www.libba.com . Ill be out on the beach this summer.
