What was written wrong in the owners manual for YJ Wranglers with manual transmissions that sent many of them into the shop for repairs before their time?

Yeah, the don't respond well, because you'd have to put the entire unibody on another chassis in order to put a body lift on it. But then I suppose it'd be a "unibody" lift. :purple:
 

Correct! What they recommended for the manual transmissions in the owners manual had certain additives and such that destroyed the synchronizers, sending many a YJ to the shop, or an early grave due to transmission failure.
 
Ok this is for the TJ'ers.
What year did D.C. change the TJ, removing the last few peices of YJ's that were still innerchangable with TJ/YJ?
 

OK Mingez your getting closer....but it was 2001. In 2001 the last of the mechanical controls for the AC and Cruise control was replaced with fully electronic. Thus they changed the sides of the dash and up-rights. In 2001 they also changed the transmission tunnle in preperations of the Rubicon that came out in 2003.
