Looking for a new car alarm

Hi,

Looking for some new car alarm - any recommendations?

Heard good things about toadalarm.com

And found this company after searching google, motor-defender.com

I could always get a Clifford or Ravelco, but I want something less expensive.

I apologize if the post isn't in the right forum, but I couldn't find another that fits.

Last alarm I got was back in the 90's and it was a Viper. :lol:

I bought a viper alarm for my Wrangler, along with a motion sensor (if the top is down, motion inside the Jeep can set the alarm off). I love it, and recommend it to anyone.

Non installed Vipers aren't available to the general public though - I had to buy mine new off of Ebay (since I wanted to install it myself). Most place like Best Buy require installation to sell you a Viper.

In doing research I found that alot of places sell Clifford alarms - it turns out that Clifford and Viper are both made by the same company - DEI.
