Quick TC Question

Looking up a SYE kit for my '06 Wrangler. Would I have the NP231 TC? Looking at this kit here but it only shows it fitting TJ's through the '01 model year.

If you scroll down it shows it fits up to '06 TJ's. Yes, you have the 231J.

This one is only $163, so you'll save $100. I've installed several of these.

I got one of those, and have had no issues. Basically, it is an Advanced Adapters without the name...

By the way, get some GOOD snap ring pliers for this job; it will save you hours, if not days of fighting with the snap rings in the TC!!! (DONT ASK HOW I KNOW!)

I've seen 'em called 'lock ring' plies, they have knurled paddles like a duckbill. I call 'em split rings but I may have made that up

To be honest, I dont remember the name either, but those "duck billed" pliers are the ones I am talking about... They are a MUST!
