i am thinking about buying a 72 cj5 but i can not find the nada value for it. the owner is asking 2000.00 or b.o. is this a good deal? he says it is in excellent shape. i am going this evening to take a look at it.

$2000 sounds like a fairly good price for a 72 CJ-5. I paid $3800 for my '73 CJ-5 but I also got a 304 V8, a warn winch, on-board air & very little rust. Engine size, extras, and condition all play an important part on the pricing of a classic vehicle. Check autotrader.com to price similiar vehicles and see if it's a reasonable price.
