08 JK, want to upgrade the entertainment

OK, my 08 wrangler came with the entry level stock AM/FM/CD player. I love the OEM NAV system but it is expensive! Anybody have a recommendations for a in dash NAV system? I will install myself so the OEM would be great for compatibility but at almost 2K I just cant bring myself to do it. Also i worry about rain, everytime I've had to top down I get wet!! Any ideas would be great! THANKS JEEPZ!!!

You could always just add in a separate nav. unit. Then when it rains or anything you can simply unhook it and move it somewhere dry. Most in dash units are pretty spendy if you want something good

Absolutely, just install a removable nav unit - you can get them for a couple hundred bucks or less. Not only are you concerned about electronics getting wet, you don't want them stolen either...
