I have a '61 cj5 with a 350 chevy engine recently installed. It runs great but I can't get the clutch arm to release the clutch disk. I was told to remove the clutch fork pivot bearing and get a longer one. Any other suggestions? Did this work for anyone else?

I pulled the starter and it works fine. Tried turning the engine by hand and no movement either way. Thanks for the later cj5 eng idea. I'm gonna pull it apart and find the problem. Torn between engine swap and original as possible..

I was driving and the 1961 cj5 died. I replaced the spark plugs, the ignition coil, the distributor, and the battery. It's turning over but no spark. Been working on it for awhile and am at a loss. About to take it to a shop..
