Engine swap help needed.

I am swapping my stock in line 4 cyl with a sbc 350 in my 1961 cj5. Has anyone done this swap before with a cj5? Any tips or parts website info would be helpful. Thanks

I have a sb 327 in my 69, I did not install the engine but have investigated the install many times to determine what all had to be done. The engine appears to be installed about an inch off center to the drivers side, I either have modified stock engine mounts or they are 76-86 engine mounts welded in and modified. What trans mission are you going to use? I can tell you now that the 19 splined dana 44 tapered axle is on borrowed time with a v8, my rear 44,s ring and pinion are stripped at the current time. The steering shaft from the column to the box is tight with headers. My dist is a HEI and is only a finger width from the firewall so watch your room there, if you look at my avatar pic, I think you can see where my hood and the grill meet, you may be able to notice my grill is about 6" wide they modified it but I don't think they needed to as there is nothing inside the modified section of the grill. If I can post you any pics, just let me know.
