On my 1960 CJ5 I run the BFG KM2. They wear pretty good on pavement also. I like them better than the Pro Comp mud tires. I have run the BFG AT's in the past, but they do not like deep sticky mud. 8)

Down in Southern AZ I have noticed the same thing. A lot of the new Jeep drivers don't wave and look at you strangely when you do. I drive a 60 CJ5 and most off roader's wave and I wave back, if I have not waved first. I am always being stopped by someone to look at my Jeep or ask questions...

I thought it was hot in AZ untill I had to spend 3 months here in Djibouti, Djibouti Africa. It has been 125 everyday and 90% humidity levels. I never thought i would say: I can't wait to get back home to AZ where it is cooler!!

1955 thru 1959 CJ5's did have the factory option of the ventilating windshield. They are found mostly with the hard tops. I will post pictures when I am back State side in mid Sept.!! Does anyone out there own a 50's CJ-5 with the ventilating windshield? I am looking for a photo of the swing out arms that hold the inner frame open. Mine are missing, and I need a picture of the correct ones that are supposed to be on it :???:
