I found the wire that is causing the problem, but do not know where to get a replacement, can I just cut/solder/replace this whole connection. The problem is when there is any tension on the white wire coming from the connector it stalls or stutters. What do you all think? Im gonna try to post...

Also, I'm not sure if this is related at all, but now whenever I hit a speed bump or any bump for that matter the engine rpms shoot up for about 8 seconds then drop back down to idle speed. Twice it has stalled when hitting bumps in the road. ??? jered

I got a good deal on a black hard top so now I'm looking for some black soft uppers to go with my half-steel doors. ('91 YJ Wrangler) I think they need round corners to fit with the hard top. Thanks! jered.

Read this if you bought an air compressor since 1996 I just got a great deal on a hard top for my 91 yj and now must find a way to have upper doors! I have the soft uppers that fit with a soft top, but they will not fit once I get a hard top. Are there soft uppers that will fit with half steel...

My 91 YJ 4.0 is not starting. It will turn over, but no start. The fuel pressure is fine. I pulled the wire from the coil to the dist. cap and there is no spark. How do I know if I should replace the ignition module or coil?? Thanks. Jered
