Hey mark ! Welcome to Jeepz.com ! Every time I see a TJ , it makes me think , mabe I should look for one and put the CJ search on the back burner . I REALLY like the TJ but have had an obsession over CJ's , like, FOREVER ! But I think you'll love it . Enjoy the forum too ! Greg
I've had a CJ5, 7, YJ, and now a TJ. The CJs had such a cool factor, but it sure is nice to go offroad with my new TJ and have everything work perfectly, idle evenly, etc.

I will admit , I'm sure the CJ will be as much work as it is play , but if the body is good , the appeal is there . I remember the first and only CJ I ever had , a Tonka Toy , but I was hooked after . I never forgot the one I wasn't allowed to buy , it was in the junk yard I worked in . Blue with a V6 Buick ( factory dauntless ) 3x2 trans & t-case . Awesome ! I vow when I find the money to drive a CJ ! But I will say I REALLY appreciate the TJ, it is a modern day CJ !
