First thing in the morning before you try to crank it, pour a little gas in the Carb to prime it. If it cranks right up then you know its a fuel issue. Most likely accelerator pump.

It doesn't hurt to roll the front end also when going any higher than a 6. I have a spare front end for my 73 CJ 5 that is rolled.

I have a 96 Tahoe 5.7 vortec. What about computer issues after installing that came. Can it be reprogrammed or does it call for new computer?

I have a 73 cj5 with 6" skyjacker. I suggest a drop pitman arm. They are pretty easy to find. I left my brake lines. The brackets need to be lowered but I haven't gotten around to it. I did add on to my front drive shaft. Rear was OK because I rolled the rear end. I run 38" swampers on mine...

I wouldn't spray anymore starting fluid in it. Use a little gas to prime it with. Starting fluid is very hard on your engine and believe it or not engines become addicted to it. Sounds like your Carb is losing prime. Does it do this every time or just when you first crank it. What size Carb is it?

I live n between Buna and Kirbyville on 1004. A place called Cairo a Springs. My land is bordered by hunting clubs on all sides and we ride there through out the year until hunting season. However I don't know if I would take such a new Jeep n some of the places we go.

Got seal changed. Not much to it after all. My transmission is a t14. Next project is drop steering arm. Right now its a fabricated job on it but I have an actual drop replacement on my other cj5. Its flooding here in southeast Texas right now and I live in the woods so looks like these 38...
