    4X4 Shifter Clip Problem

Thanks for the quick response. I saw something on another post that suggests there might be some kind of rubber piece that fits in with the clip. I do not have a rubber piece. Is there one?

    4X4 Shifter Clip Problem

Have '90 jeep wrangler. Shift lever for 4X4 will not stay on 4WD shifter shaft on transfer case. Got new "clip" but it will still not hold the lever on the shaft reliably. Any suggestions as to how to resolve this problem? Seems like really poor design to me. How about if I drill and thread...

    Backup Lights On

My backup lights stay on all the time (have 90 jeep). Is this typical of a backup switch failure, or should I be looking for something else? And, by the way, if I have to replace the backup switch (on transmission), can I expect transmission fluid to run out (just asking - don't know).

    Power Steering Switch Wiring

Don't know how it goes at this point. Without original connector can't tell which wire went to which prong. Can't find any picture of switch and connector that suggest how the connector mated to the switch showing wires. Sides of switch seem generic (i.e., no obvious connector orientation...

    Power Steering Switch Wiring

Have 90 Wrangler. Connector to power steering pressure switch got mangled (don't ask). Switch OK. Cut off connector - can't find new one. Put slip-on connector on each wire. Slip-on connectors will fit nicely on two "prongs" on pump switch. One wire is orange (14OR), other is light blue...

    indicator panel

I have same problem. How did you solve this problem? How did you get the indicator panel loose from the connectors on each end? You indicate that you "didn't have it plugged in it just slide in under the plugs". Can you further explain? What slid in under the plugs?

    90 Jeep Indicator Problems

Bulbs are intact. Even tried swapping bulbs and bulb holders but nothing changes. Only right blinker signal works.

    90 Jeep Indicator Problems

Yes, lights/devices work but do not register on dash (except for right turn signal). I tried to pull out the indicator panel to inspect it, but I can not get the connectors off on each end of the indicator panel. Do you know how to do that?

    90 Jeep Indicator Problems

I'm new to this site, so this may be in wrong place. Bought 90 Wrangler. Now have all exterior lights working (tail, stop, turn, backup), interior courtesy light, hazard flasher (front and rear lights), and headlight high beams. However, only the right turn signal lamp lights up (blinks) in the...
