1987 jeep wrangler

:???:Ok well I just got a new yoke u bolt style for a Dana 35. I have never put one on before. my dad told me I need to make sure the bolt is in the same place as it was. I took my transfer case out and I don’t know if it is inline how do I check. limited tools but I need help on it

It doesn't matter how the yoke is installed on the splines, there is no 'phase' to worry about. If I understand your question correctly.

87-88 YJ's have bad manual transmissions baby the transmission or you will lose 5th
and reaverse.
