1996 Grand Engine swap, what fits?

Hi that is my question, I have a 96 grand that needs a new engine and I want to replace it I know I can go up to a 98 but anything above that?...... this is just a DD and riding the beaches and a little mud.

I was wondering what fit and if I had to replace the transmission and T-case as well as the computer if I went above a 98
