1999 Grand Cherokee - How to remove overhead console?

I need to remove the OH console on my 99 Grand Cherokee in order to replace maplight parts. I removed the single phillips head screw but would not come off. Am I missing something? Did not want to force it off. push button map lights do not turn off. What is proper way to remove? Thanks.

Just to add to the last great post. Be careful with that first screw. I did not remove it all the way and tore the headliner when I pushed the console foreward.
