RE: clunking from front
OK, I have been told that I need to replace my 3:55 with 4:10 due to running 33" with 4.0 and 5spd, but with that understood......I want to here from someone else that has the same setup.
I have a new fuel pump, injectors, MAP, O2 and TPS sensors, plugs, wires etc.When accelerating and shifting to 3rd gear (about 2000rpm) my engine wants to surge/lope(hesitation) several seconds....then it runs like a champ. Not too noticable in 4th (again around 2000-2400 rpm's). I conceed to some power loss but other than that drives like a champ.
This is primarily a road vehicle. I have been told everything from this is normal characteristics for a jeep toooo it is my gears. Any similar cases.
