'99 Wrangler TJ -- Need to know how the back window of the s

Hello everyone,

I know how it zips in, but the bottom part, the part with the weather stripping, how in the heck does that thing get connected to the jeep? I have a BESTOP softop that I bought off of Ebay, and was able to figure out how everything works, except for this. Currently my window is just hanging inside the truck.





ANYONE OUT THERE WITH A BESTTOP SOFTOP KNOW HOW TO ATTACH THE BACK WINDOW TO JEEP FRAME?

Basically the same way the factory top did. It connects with a weatherstripping bar into the 2 slots on the sides of the tailgate.[addsig]

yeah, the bar has 2 weatherstripping slots on the sides, except my '99Jeep TJ wrangler doesn't have the metal lip that they would connect to. I've seen YJ's that have it, and my TJ has it, UP TO where the rear window begins, but not where the rear window is, so they are just flappin in the wind.
