So this weekend im changing my a/c condensor that has 2 pin holes in it, my muffler that the pipe broke off, speedometer gear so i can really tell how fast and how bad my gas mileage really is, also putting on some side armor guards. I love working on my Jeep and a 12pack.

very nice. this weekend i hope to fix the crappy lift that my yj has and fix the shake that it does from second to third gear which is probably the pitch of the back and hopefully find some spring plates and links to reattach so that it drives a bit smoother and not like a ****in tank. lol

what happened? Any before and after pics of the side armor?

this coming weekend i am making the 2.5 hour drive to san antonio pulling my little trailer so i can hit up pick-n-pull to get a family roll cage. then, i am driving back and jumping in hte car with the wife and kids to hit up sea world, in san antonio.

the wife won't drive to san antonio on her own so i get to make double trips to get my parts and then have fun with my kids. her and my youngest son cannot leave friday morning like my oldest son and i are going to because of football weigh ins. they are saturday morning. i figure i cna pull the roll cage and be back friday and then we can roll out right after weigh ins and then hit up sea world and stay at lackland or one of hte bases saturday night and just drive home sunday.

We let me start by saying the smittybilt side armor is awesome ease to put on and looks great. Now starts the nightmare i went to replace the muffler that had a broke weld and to come to find out the previous owner put on the wrong size muffler and rigged the exhaust pipe with welds and clamps. long story short had to saw zaw the tail pipe off and pry the muffler off the catalytic converter, then fabricate the tail pipe back to its factor specs. changed the speed gear from a 30 tooth to a 29 tooth going by the chart and that did nothing. finally went to change out the a/c condensor and could not get the a/c lines apart because of the plastic piece of sh*t tool the guy at the parts store sold me :x. Now i have bought a metal tool for disconnecting the lines and will give it another go Fri.

Well back to work this weekend brake line replace on rear end and wheel cylinder. Also have to replace rotted bushings with poly on the rear end. Oh yeah and finish off that 12pk

Only replacing lug nuts this weekend with a set of black ones. It will be nice to relax and drink a few.
