Got a ? about whether or not anybody's ever had gears put in, while still under warrenty. Right now theres 4.11's in the punkins, but would like 4.88's to run taller tires. I've had the TJ since June of 06, and nothing has gone wrong with it yet. Can i get into any trouble if i do install gears?:???:

Research the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act and you'll understand that they can't deny you warranty coverage unless they can strictly state that a modification caused the failure.
Regearing should affect anything as long as it's professionally installed. Best advice is to get to know your service manager and pick their brain, as that will be who approves or denies warranty coverage. Some dealers are more mod friendly than others.
