Abs

i have the connections for the abs system but they were disconected when i bought the jeep about 2 months ago. i have read that a lot of people diconnect it anyway but why???? my yj is a daily driver and the brakes work fine, is there any reason to leave it unhooked or should i plug it back up??

abs is the enemy off road it wont allow you to stop very well if at all in the mud. off road you want the tires to lock and form small piles of dirt in front of them.. abs wont allow this on the street i would hook them back up.. makes it much safer in panic stop situations, just my 2 cents on it
