both headlights buring out at the same time?

i just did current check and it turns out that the low beams on both bulbs are out. the high beams work, but not the low beams. has anyone heard of this? does anyone know where i can get a cheap pair of headlamps for a yj?[addsig]

Its rare but possible. Headlights can be bought at any auto parts store or even a department store like Walmart for around $10 or less for a standard headlight. Should be a H6054 headlight[addsig]

This may sound anal, but I replace both my headlights when one goes out. Be glad it didn't happen at night on the way down the highway!

I do the same thing but I prefer to think of it as something other than anal! Now I have a complex.

Hey! I change both lights at the same time. I do that with all my bulbs. I think it's just a good idea, cause if that one went out it's a matter of time 'till another does.
