Brake master cylinder upgrade

I just swapped out the drum brakes on the rear with a disc brake conversion kit. It looks like it's working normally, but I've heard I may have to replace the master cyclinder with a larger one to handle the extra load.

Any comments or suggestions?

I'd recommend a master cylinder from a '78 Grand Marquis, with 4whl disc and hydroboost. Also consider swapping out the proportioning valve for one from a Grand Cherokee or newer TJ equipped with 4whl disc.

Will a master cylinder from a '78 Grand Marquis just bolt on, or will there be a need for an adapter or re-engineering?

Dont believe that one will fit the newer tj booster. I think you need a late 90's dodge ram 1/2 ton. use a 4 wheel disc p/valve or go to a adjustable one from willwood or like that.
