Cleaning off Valves

RE: Re: RE: Dealership cant fix...NEED HELP

OK, so if you saw my other post, you know I broke a stud on my exhaust manifold. I had to take it off to drill it out, and with it came the intake manifold. Now I have a clear view of the valves, and there is a bunch of carbon on the backside of those guys. Is there some kind of cleaner that I could spray on it to soften it up/clean it off before I put the manifolds back on? I feel like since I am right here, I might as well clean them off, if I can easily. By the way, I am not going to be able to start this engine for a couple months still, so any cleaners that would have to be burned off right away are not an option.

Thanks all.

RE: vehicle year

You can buy a can of SeaFoam and spray it on there, available at most auto parts stores. Or you can wait and suck it into the manifold via a vacuum port as per the instructions.
