Commander aerial mount

I have a 2008 commander with 55k on the clock. Yesterday I noticed that the paint is cracked and flaking around the wing mounted aerial. I'm guessing due to it flexing the wing back and forth. Is there a simple fix for this or ...

Is the base loose from the roof?. If it is, you will need to access the retainers under the headliner and tighten it.

No. It has no movement in it at the base at all. I'm kinda ****ed that this is so poorly designed as to flex and crack the paint in this way. I'm guessing the wing is steel and will need sanding and painting :-(

I'm not sure what you mean by the wing mounted aerial? What part of the Commander are you talking about?
