Dumb wiring question...

For the turn signal lights in the front fender flares on a TJ...which wire is hot and which is the ground? One has a yellow stripe, the other doesn't.

Need to wire up new sockets (came with aftermarked fender flares).

Doesn't matter. the bulb is inline on the circuit, no the completion of the circuit.

The one with the stripe is positive, which you will need to know if you ever put LED lights in. And if you want to be really cool about it, connect 1 lead to the parking wire positive and the other lead to the positive side of the turn signal wire. When your lights are on the marker light blinks with the turn signal, and when you lights are off the marker light blinks opposite the turn signal.
