Engine Stumbles at start up.

1989 Jeep YJ, 2.5L TBI

The old Jeep has been running fine up till now. When I first start the Jeep it stumbles and then comes up to idle. It then idles and drives smooth. I can get on the throttle and drive down the road without any problems. It just stumbles at start up. Any ideas?

Check your throttle body. It might need to be cleaned from the carbon build up.

:agree: I had a pretty rough stumble @ start-up, and a good cleaning helped ALOT.

I worked on it this evening and got it figured out. I found a vacuum line came loose from the throttle body. It starts up and runs good now. Thanks.
