In my last request for help, you guys solved my problem with the water in the passenger side floor. When I first discovered the water problem is was because the fog lights were on and no one had been in the car. When I opened the door is was like a steam bath inside because of the water and probably 100+ interior temperature. Anyway, by clicking and rotating the turn signal switch, I was able to turn off the fog lights but the slightest movement of the the switch turned them back on. I have repeatidly tried to click-turn-rotate the switch, which seamed to help, or at lease I thought so. Not. Yesterday I went out to find that the fog lights were on - again. This time nothing would turn them off. I had to disconnect the battery. In hind sight, removing the fuse would have been easier. Is it possible to clean the contacts in the switch or does it need to be replaced. If replacement is necessary, what difficulties will I encounter? Help.
